Overview

At every age, there are different exciting options for experiencing Israel. The Israel Experience Ltd. offers programs for post-high school participants that range from 10 days to 10 months. Our high standards of excellence in providing quality educational programs with superior logistics are manifest in all of these programs.

10 Day Program

• Taglit-Birthright Israel - Taglit-Birthright Israel offers a free gift of a 10 day trip to Israel for 18-26 year old Jewish young adults who’ve never participated on a peer experience in Israel. An amazing gift which seems too good to be true, but almost 200,000 young adults have taken advantage of this gift since 1999.

2 Month Programs

• Marva – For young Jewish adults who want to become familiar with Israel, Marva is a unique opportunity to experience the physical and emotional challenges of the country, its problems and people. Through hiking the land, living in field conditions, navigating deserts and hillsides and participating in seminars and lectures, you will learn hands on the issues of the country. Marva will help you strengthen your ties to Israel, whether you’re a tourist or potential new immigrant. It is a group experience like no other.
• Magen David Adom Ambulance Volunteer Program – This excellent program, run by Magen David Adom and “Israel Experience” Inc. (IEI), brings hundreds of young Jewish people from all over the world to Israel to work side-by-side Israeli staff and volunteers on ambulances in Israel. The program begins with a 60-hour first-aid training course; an intense ten days of learning that covers material ranging from bandaging a simple wound through CPR and mass casualty incidents.

5 Month Program

• Career Israel – The Career Israel program is a five-month professional internship program open to college/university graduates from all over the world. The program provides internship placements in leading companies and organizations in the private and public sectors in Israel in every field including law, medicine, media, economics, politics, public relations, education, social work, engineering, computer science, advertising and business and more. The program also includes accommodations, a Hebrew study program, tours and extracurricular enrichment activities.

10 Month Programs

• Israel Teaching Fellows: Rishon Le’tzion-
  Israel Teaching Fellows: Rishon Le’tzion

  ITF will bring about change in Israeli schools through a new and innovative 10 month program, highly subsidized by the Ministry of Education and the Masa project, where fellows will partner with Israeli teachers to work in English classes in Israel.  Come join us for the amazing opportunity to be a change agent in Israel. The teaching fellows will complete a 100+ hour teacher training that will complement past teaching experiences, work in 3^rd- 8^th grade classrooms, receive Hebrew language learning through the year, participate in a community and professional development project weekly, and explore Israel through seminars and tours. This comprehensive program will provide you with a supportive environment to give you the tools to succeed and make a difference the lives of Israeli children in Rishon Le’tzion.  For more information, feel free to contact orlysh@israelexperience.org.il

Cost: The program costs $1ooo** for the entire 10 month experience which includes teacher training, travel throughout the country, housing, seminars, Hebrew learning thoughout the year, health insurance, transport in the city, stipend and plane ticket reimbursement.**This highly subsidized program costs $1000 for those that are eligible for $4500 grant from the Masa Project grant (www.masaisrael.org).  The subsidized program cost totals over $14,000, and we are lucky to have partners who are helping to cover costs.

• Nachshon – the Israeli Mechina – Nachshon is a 10-month leadership training program for Israeli or Jewish high-school graduates from overseas. Nachshon is an authentic Israeli experience. It is the first program to bring high-school graduates to Israel to devote 10 months to social leadership together with their Israeli peers. This is not a tourist program. Nachshon participants speak Hebrew and live with Israelis in a completely Israeli environment.
• The Rimon Music Experience – “The Rimon Music Experience” will provide you with a unique opportunity for music studies in Israel with an educational “Israel experience”.
